The new venue of MAHAPEX 2012
The new venue of MAHAPEX 2012 is now Wrestling Stadium, Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi, Pune. This complex is situated in Balewadi, Pune, about 14–15 km far from Pune downtown and 4–5 km from Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park, Hinjewadi, Pune. This complex was the venue for the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games.

Lions Club of Calcutta (Tollygunge) organized the Opening Ceremony of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations on Wednesday, 21st December, 2011 at Lions Children Park, Deshpriya Park, Kolkata at 9.00am on its 50th Foundation Day to commemorate 50 glorious years of Service to Humanity. The Club is celebrating year 2011-12 (starting from 21st December, 2011 to 20th December, 2012) as its Golden Jubilee Year. A special cover was released during the opening ceremony.

Lions Club of Calcutta (Tollygunge) was established on 21st December, 1961 and is one of the oldest & biggest clubs in Multiple District 322.The Club has Four Permanent Projects wherein it provides medical facilities like Homeopathy, Eye & Dental Clinics to underprivileged persons. The Club’s Medical services include Blood Donation Camps, Health Check-up camps, Eye Screening Camps, Distribution of Spectacles,. Club’s other services include providing educational assistance like distribution of textbooks & stationary, installation of tubewells, distribution of tricycles/artificial limbs and blankets, Tree plantations and relief donations.
